The oldies station

So Mia and i are driving home the other day, listening to our new favorite radio station. Its an oldies station that plays 60's and 70's. Insulting isnt it? Anyway, we heard Celebration by Cool and the Gang, then Grease is the Word from the sound track, then right before they played the StarWars theme song with disco drum beat inserted (which by the way was a #1 on Bilboard in 1977) they played Lionel Richie and the Commodores "Sail On". "Turn it dad; its too slow" she yelled. "No", i said, "I want to hear this one". "Why do you like this slow song dad"? "Because it was very popular when i was little". She picked up a cold steel dagger and as she stabbed me in the back with it she remarked... "and they still have that song"? I turn 39 on Monday, it doesnt seem right that songs 39 year old used to jam to qualify as oldies.

Appears you're a little short on comments, so I'll leave you one just so you feel better about yourself you freakin' old fart. Our blog is tjhabby.blogspot. As you will quickly see it is dominated by my wife, her camera, and our daughter...which, come to think of it, is fine.
